Sorry, close but no cigar.  The drain caused by the 2N meter being left 
on (0.18 ma) will be constant and won't turn off.  The 2S, 3, 4,  etc. 
will turn the meter off after 1-2 minutes, but there is still that pesky 
battery drain baseline that you can't do anything about.  On these 
models, turning the shutter speed dial to B/60 does not eliminate it.

"Off" on the 2N is a modified "auto" setting.  If the camera is used in 
a bright light situation that would have given you a shutter speed above 
1/45th, you will still get that correct auto speed while set to "off". 
It's like shooting on auto without the meter display turned on. Main 
circuit that controls auto speed turns on as the mirror starts to go up. 
A properly operating OM-2/2N has NO battery drain with meter off & 
shutter closed.
