video at 60fps is nothing particularly special, my tiny Canon p+s does
that, but 60fps at HDTV resolution is more interesting. (or 60fps at
6mp, but only for 1 second, I think)
More interesting still is the 300fps shooting at 512x384, all the way
up to 1200fps at 336x96 (which is low-res enough to not be obviously
useful for taking images, but could be useful for industrial/scientific
situations where you need that sort of framerate for some reason, and
aren't too picky about the colour balance).

(URL probably needs joining) has some sample shots at 60fps and some
high-framerate video; it also has the "capture the second before you
press" feature, in case you're slow on the trigger.
Now, all of this lot is useless for a lot of things, it's clearly a
very specialised tool -- but if you need what it does, it could be very
useful.
