[OM] Re: OM-1 fried contacts

I recall John stating he had seen some toasty contacts in the past from 
possible high TV units though none as fried as this.? Come to think of it my 
Viv283 (200V TV) does fire spontaneously on one OM2 on occassion though seems 
to settle down.? The instructions say to fire the flash 6 times or so prior to 
use---? better cap fxn?
