I purchased this B+W 77mm Kaesemann MRC Circular Polarizer for $119.90
in May of 2007 from seller "besteastern" in Hong Kong. Like this one:

The price is up to $127.95 now (probably dollar devaluation) but still
represents a substantial savings over B&H's price of $164.95. Based on
the price difference and a Hong Kong source for a presumably German
product I was concerned I might be buying a counterfeit. But if it's a
counterfeit it's a very good one.
"besteastern" and other associated names also have their own site at
<http://hvstar.net/>. They claim to actually be a Canadian company with
Asian sourcing.
