I have an OM-1 but I don't like it and I've not encountered an old Weston
that still works properly. I have several broken ones in my collection. I
also have several modern handheld meters that work well but using them
doesn't go well with what I think 35mm should be used for. If I am going to
do slow, contemplative work that requires a handheld meter, I use my 645
camera and get better quality. I carry my OM-4T's for quick work when I see
something interesting while out and about doing non-photo errands. The built
in meter in the OM-4 is awesome and lets me do precise work quickly. I never
liked my OM-1n because its metering system is primitive and the camera
itself just doesn't operate as quickly for me as the OM-4. I got my first
OM-4T long before I got the OM-1 and I am just used to it and prefer it. Had
my oldest OM-4T for almost 14 years. My F4 works well in cold, but like I
said its big and heavy...almost as bad as my 645. Seems like too much weight
for 35mm image quality. I got it in high school when I was young and dumb
and wanted a "Big Pro Camera".
