ICE and silver based B&W films is a big no-no. It only works with chromogenic
films (those you can process in a colour, c-41 soup). Rationale being that
ICE sees dust specs in infrared as reflective while a film is normally
transparent to IR (that's the reason why you can put a big lamp behind a
slide : heat [IR is heat, really] mostly goes through). But the silver on a
B&W film is IR-reflective too. So ICE is totally lost with those films.
