Seems to me there has been a good ogf the real common stuff and although prices
of OM bodies has not been absolutely fantastic, Pen F/FT stuff is certainly
maintaining relatively high value.? Wonder what that is all about, given that
getting half-frame stuff processed and printed isn't exactly the easiest of
tasks.? My bet goes with collectors who are retiring these little gems to a
shelf somewhere.? I picked up a Pen FT a couple months ago at a somewhat
reasonable price, however the lens had a rather large scratch on it, which has
had me nosing around for a decent price ona 38mm lens, which explains my
noticing the Pen F/FT prices.? Bill Barber???

We're off to my in-laws in the States for Christmas. So I'd thought
about looking to pickup some Oly stuff while there. It's been a while
since I've looked semi-seriously on Eb*y and I've been surprised by what
seems to be a limited supply of stuff (aside from much run-of-the-mill
items like OM 50/1.8s and the like)and some of the asking prices (e.g.,
for Oly Pens and lenses, Oly rangefinders like RCs, SPs that I've been
following) and what some people, at least, are willing to pay.
In a number of cases, the "high prices" are being paid by those outside
the $ zone, so it's probably partly related to current exchange rates.
However, I get the feeling that for the less common things, prices are
creeping up. Then again, maybe everyone's looking to fill their Xmas
stockings.
Am I alone is this view?
