Hi Chris,
Don't know about the imac, but for the macbook I am often swapping disks
(because its the sort of work I do), I have a second sata based
enclosure for the small 2.5" disks, I then install the OS on it and use
migration utility to copy users applications etc across to the new disk.
then I just shutdown and swap the disks over, easy in a macbook. Try
that on windoze! The idea is the same for the imac with an external
disk, but I have never had the cover off an Imac so I don't know how
difficult it is to swap the old and new disks, however taking the cover
off will be the most difficult part of the task
enjoy the E-3, I will have to make do with the 330 until spring, but I
do have the 7-14 which I feel is giving me more variations than had I
just bought an E-3.
