If memory serves me correctly, Moose pointed out that the pentaprism
hump and forward protrusion is a problem with at least some Canyon
DSLR's. It certainly is with my 5D. It takes an 8mm extension tube to
get beyond it. I don't have a side view of the E-3 available but the
E-1 appears to have such a protrusion and the E-3 prism is supposedly
larger. My guess is you'll need a short tube there as well.
