Libel law is pretty rarified air, in legal terms. I wouldn't trust
the opinion on libel of a lawyer who specialized in estate management
anymore than I'd trust any other fellow's opinion. There was a time,
_way_ back in the day, when I knew more libel law than our
newspaper's lawyer (local mouthpiece, not NYT types) because I was
the city editor and would be the first one hung out to dry if someone
had succeeded in nailing us.
