Flickr also has various ways to protect images. You can mark any image as
private and then only invite particular people to view them. You can
identify other Flickr members as friend or family and you can indicate that
any particular image is only viewable by family or friends. Of course, for
this to work the people you want to view the images have to have a Flickr
account, but a basic Flickr account is free. You can also prevent images
from being part of a search result. As someone else mentioned, Picasa web
albums are also another way to go.
