Actually, Peter Davison regenerated into Colin Baker, who regenerated
into Sylvester McCoy. McCoy was the last TV Doctor from the old series.
There was the Fox movie featuring Sylvester regenerating into Paul
McGann. Then the new series started with Ecclestone, who regenerated
into David Tenant.
