IMO the K10d is right in line with the E-3. Typically
these things are priced higher when they are
introduced. The 510 hasnt experienced much of a price
drop YET...because it is fairly new to the market. 

When I posted my thought...I wanted to compare the E-3
to the K10d rather than a N*kon or C*non offering
because the K10d is a closer match (feature wise).
Price is not an issue because the E-3 isnt even in the
market yet...what you see is more MSRP pricing. 

Lenses - I give up!! They each have their own set of
desirable lenses.
