Oh, one other thing:
There's a "life-size" photo of the E-3, looking down from the top,
inside the brochure. It's just a hair larger than my E-410. Now
*there's* something you're never gonna get in a Canon -- compact size.
And yes, it's got the LCD on the top-right-hand side, just like the E-1.
Hmm. 5fps (no mention of an upper limit that I can find). 1/8000 sec
top shutter speed. 1/250 sec. X-sync. Wireless flash (up to four
channels). AF range of -2 to +19 EV. 11-point full twin-cross AF
system. IS (two types). Metering: digital ESP 49-point metering;
centre-weighted average; spot; spot w/highlight; spot w/shadow. Etc.
Yada yada yada.
810g body only. 142mm (W) x 116mm (H) x 74.5mm (D), excluding protrusions.
Regardless of initial reservations, I'd like to get my hands on this
puppy. But I'm betting I'm still going to have to be a two-system guy
(successor to the 5D, I think).
