I got a Digital Zuiko 40-150mm 3.5-4.5 lens from Cameta on the 'bay, one of the
"factory demo"s. Although the item description for factory demo lenses say
they come with lens caps and an instruction book, mine actually came with the
lens hood, but no instructions.
That is alright by me, as I can live without the instructions, but the lack of
a lens hood would be a problem.
However, I wonder what information I am missing. My biggest concern is that
when attaching and removing the lens hood, the front of the lens rotates and I
can feel and hear the focus motor dragging. Is there some trick to prevent the
front from rotating, or is dragging the focus motor not a problem?
