After all these years of wishing to get a fang, but not really working hard at
it, one just showed up on "that" website. Here:

It came on Friday and I spent all weekend trying to find those scratches that
he was talking about. Inaccurate description, I guess. I am a very
consevative when it comes to rating equipment, but would have rated it much
higher.
Its beautiful and complete. It also comes with the original receipt and
receipt showing that it was sold in January of 1970. Too bad, no name on it.
I have another one bought from a listmemeber a few years back, but it is a
later model and not that good looking, expecially when it comes to the plastic
rewind knob...:)
I suspect that most of the camera was handmade and very little automation was
used as in the German factory during the thirties. I think that all markings
were made by hand too as if one looks really close at them, they do not look
the same. Most notably where there is number 5. No number 5's are alike.
Even on my other Kiev, which was made in 1981. Surprized to see that from the
people that put a man in space, but never changed the process...
I like my fang. Now I have to build a shelf for it...
