This was really apparent to me yesterday while photographing my fox
buddy with a guy from TX who was using a huge hunk of a Canon with a
cannon stuck on the front. I asked him how he could handhold such a
beast. "It's stabilized," he replied, "and I crank up the ISO". "Yeah,
but..'" I sez, "I thought one could'n't go much over 3-400mm even with
stabilization." Well, it turned out the big chunk of white only was a
100~400. Gheez, I'm thinking as I look down at my tiny 40~150 kit lens
on the E510. Anyway, his shot probably looked something like this.
