Yeah I read that too.
I can't really think of any 50s I've used recently that had good bokeh, but
my old Voigtlander Vito II with 50/3.5 Colour Skopar (Tessar design) was
pretty good in that department.
I also find the lenses for the Mamiya RB67 are pretty good, which I
attribute to simpler lens designs.
