I' sure to be forced to experience that time again would surely make us
all stop & count our blessings, irrespective of what's on the desktop
right now!
That said, I do -very occasionally- fire up the old CP/M machine, just
for nostalgia! I built it using veroboard, kynar wire, & a handful of
bent sand in about 1989. I always say that one day I'll fire up kermit &
transfer all the old data/apps over to my UNIX machine & run cpmemu -
then my right brain kicks in & says 'why bother??' :) It is QUICK
though! (it should be noted that I _was_ excited to find an emulator of
the Apollo guidance computer on the 'net - I held back on building the
hardware replica with the CMOS 4000 series chips, though!!)
