Yes, saw the result of that sort of drinking on a documentary a few
weeks ago. A chap who had worked in the steel mills at Corby and who
had drunk a gallon a day for years (because it was hot) now has to
have 20-odd litres of fluid drawn off his abdomen every few weeks.
Who on earth told all these people that alcohol could replenish their
fluids ...?
