I also tend to disagree. Pros will move to whatever gives them an
edge. No brand loyalty there. Actually I think Canon displaced Nikon
before digital came along. It just intensified with digital.
Interestingly I saw some discussion with recent sales figures that
seemed to indicate that Canon is standing still right now and Nikon
is increasing market share, unfortunately just at the consumer end of
the dslr range. Bad news for those other guys. Hard to predict what
will happen, although I realize that Garth was just being funny.
