Could not agree more. It's a shame that there hasn't been more
attempt to make compact cameras with large sensors, as in the Sigma
DP-1. It does seem to require a larger lens structure but that should
be easy enough to overcome. Unfortunately it has become the one
simple, dumb measure.
My Epson has 6 - it's really enough.
Where the M8 is better is in other things than the extra pickles.
