I like the shot, but as you say, the tonal distribution is off, with all
the highlight detail squished together up top, I assume as a reault of
scanning settings/technique. And daylight film without filtering will
give too blue a result in shadow, esp. with snow.

And as an aside in response to your comment on the site, not all
digicams have slow shutter response. Some are as fast as a film camera.
