You are correct. I can't be categorical with respect to processing speed since
the camera itself is ultimately a bottleneck whether it uses Xd cards, CF cards
or any other technology. My 5D can't go as fast as current CF card technology.
However, if a 100GB CF card were released tomorrow the 5D could use it without
problem. I don't think the same could be said of Xd cards.
