The drumming workshop was an African thing, so a bodhran would have
been a bit out of place. There's usually one around at this festival,
but I don't recall seeing one this time.

Not sure how friendly the organisers at Cambridge are, but I did once
send off a CD of pics from Cropredy one year (to the organisers), with
a request to be let into the photographers' pit, which they granted,
with the usual restrictions (limited time, no flash for the first few
songs, no more than 4 (I think) photographers at a time). It was fun,
but I decided that I'd got better shots from the other side of the
barrier anyway, in those brief moments when I wasn't getting jostled
by the crowd.
