I know of only one case of higher than average CPK levels - an 80 year
old man who had a stend since 1994, and in 2002 had to go through
coronary surgery. He had been on atorvastatin since 1994, and this year
(13 years of atorvastatin use, 10 mg/day) his CPK was found above normal
concentration.
Rosurvastatin has been introduced here since two years, any news there ?
(HDL, side efects etc.)
I'm a psychiatrist so not too familiar with the subject.
