If it is a text message, Piers, you can report it to SpamCop
(www.spamcop.net) which organises for you to complain to hosts of the
spam sender. SpamCop analyses the headers and works out the real
origins of the spam.
However, if the spam contains images rather than text, SpamCop can do
little to help.
