I think discussing the color rendition of film makes sense, but I am
puzzled when the same discussion takes place with digital cameras.
There are literally dozens of ways to change the color rendition of a
DSLR to get what you want on a regular basis. That is with the just
the settings in the camera and does not even involve a curve if you
are shooting raw. There is no reason to accept the default settings
as the color rendition of the camera. Fuji even lets you set the
rendition to match the Fuji film of your choice. Nor could I make
some overall judgment of the color rendition of a camera after seeing
images with a particular combination of settings. It is not fixed
like film after all.
Nice camera you have, by the way.
