More seriously, it can be a lot of things... if it fits Nikon or canon
stuff (even oly) it can have some value...

It's an empty box - it's 'worth' nothing. :-)
What's it for? That does have some bearing on the matter. For
instance, if it's Leica box, I can guarantee that it's worth a
fortune and will cause a bit of a stir.
