My #2 son is a serious bicycle person. He cycles to and from work
every day on a hybrid. It had a guarantee as well but as he does
around 12-15,000km per year, that got a bit strained. It was retired
after 2 years and when he went in for a replacement, the guys in the
shop looked a bit bothered. These things stand up to most of the
weekend lumps and bumps but not so much the daily grind.
