This is partly true. Both of my 285s are slightly low, but in my
particular case it's also preference as I like my skintones to be
slightly higher than what a normal flash exposure gives me. This
gives me a touch more "POP" in the exposures. Both the E-1 and the
A1 have a touch of a shoulder to them which I can lean into if I
must, but only if I'm shooting RAW.
