All it does is give you QR capability for your monopod. The cost, over
and above the monopod and the Bogen head, is simply the cost of a QR
clamp, of whatever style/brand you choose. The RRS hardware kit gives
you the mounting bolt (machine screw may be the correct term) and lock
washers. You can, of course get these from a hardware store.
I've been thinking about mounting a QR clamp, but haven't done so
yet....

Dan,
I did some searching and found the "B" series of clamps on the RRS site.
They cost more than my the monopod and 3232 head combined. I saw the
hardware replacement kit. So what is the real advantage of these things?
