Here in the Great White North, we're supposed to have snow, of course... The
same storm gave us rain all day yesterday and 15+cm of heavy wet snow
overnight. Roads were fun this morning, as many of the snow clearing
contractors have finished. Late March was nice, quite warm and melted all the
snow. April, from Easter onwards has been wet, snowy and cold - utterly
miserable.

Western Massachusetts in the U.S.. The flooding is a result of a severe
Nor'easter Spring storm that pounded the East coast yesterday and last night.
Flooding along the coast in New Jersey and New York is very bad due to the
amount of rain (7+ inches in New York) and the Spring tides.
We've had a cold Spring so far. As you can see we still have snow on the
ground. Actually the storm started out by dumping 4 inches of snow before it
turned to heavy rain last night. Forecasters are calling for a bit more snow
before the weather system moves out.
