Zeiss missed the train with the contax G1/2, but this time it's a hit...

that was not needed on a rf...
Good point of the G series : the lenses... all the lenses... the 45
planar is one of the sharpest lens ever commercialised...
So they had the lens and the skills for the finder... and cosine had the
know how for the body... the result is as nice as a leica M7

I have to say the announcement and actual production of that camera
was a bright spot. For me. Love rangefinders and to have one appear
that actually competes in quality is wonderful.
