I get mine at Acklands Granger a local automotive/ jobber supplier..

Ansell Hyflex are a foam based glove with a neoprene cover, I wear them all
year round, feel naked without them. The suggestion to check out the other line
of Ansell is a good one, I wear the Hyflex under a regular work glove at work,
and keep a couple of pairs in my luggage for non work wearing. The last for
about 4-6 months per pair with my work as an electrician, and I like them
especially after washing them, putting them in a hot dryer, they get almost
skin tight, I can pick up a penny on a lino floor with them on.

The Polar line suggested is very interesting since I run a small meat
processing operation as well, and those will probably fit the bill on my
freezing hands. I cut the tendons off in my right hand fingers when I was very
young, cant curl my fingers into a fist ( ergo a pacifist!) and they get very
cold quickly now I am pushing 50.

That inability to curl my fingers also makes for difficulty holding the E-500
for extended periods of time. I need to "build up" the handgrip somehow to be
able to rest my saluting finger under a kind of "hook" while my trigger finger
is poised for action... I lost about 5 cheetah frames in Kenya in January
because of this..(cheetah was taking down a thompsons gazelle!) I'd like to
find out what kind of compound I could mould onto the camera to do this..any
suggestions?

Cheers.. Timothy-Keith: Randles

Thanks, I'll take a look for those next time I'm somewhere that sells
that sort of thing -- the problem is that I have cold hands at the best
of times, so I tend to be wearing thicker gloves than average even in
only-a-bit-cold temperatures.
