Hmmm,
Maybe another possibility to focus slower OM lenses well on the 5D. Pinged
Rachel at Katzeye
about a month ago. They have had development problems with their screens for
the 5D
and have not placed a high priority on solving them, though have not given up
as of yet.
I have checked with her about 4 times over 6 months.
Jeff and Johnny have not seemed very satisfied even with the angle finder and
the Brightscreen.

The Ee-S screen is also available, but is not designed for slower lenses.
Chuck says he has
used it a few times and thought it worked OK, as best I can recall.

I hope this new possibility works out.

"Have you had a chance to try it with a slow lens? ... Is it usable
with a 500/8 like the Katzeye Plus? If you don't have a slow lens
could you try holding in the stop down button to see if the split
image still works at f8?
TIA,
