I often use a 4/3 to OM Adaptor, plus an OM mount lens (like the Sigma
600/8) and may add the 2X Vivitar macro/tele.
See these pages, pics of the moon and there might be a 1,000 mm shot of a
Hawk still up there I may have taken it down.
Quality definitely drops the minute you add a teleconverter, though I've
heard wondrous things about the Oly 2X A

No, but I have used the Tamron 400mm + 2X with my e-1. Also the 1.4X and
the
same with the Tamron 300f2.8. Good results and certainly cheaper than the
DZ 300mm f2.8. Bill Barber
