Someone mentioned wanting to take photos of grains of pollen in one of
the macro/reversed lens threads a while ago. I had a gerbera daisy
sitting around that was just _covered_ in the stuff, so I took some shots:

First one with a 20/3.5, the other three with a reversed elgeet 7mm;
otherwise nothing special, handleld with builtin flash, "ultimate cheap
macro studio" style.
I didn't realise pollen looked so much like _rice_ up close, and I
didn't realise it was translucent. Also, even if I do say so myself, I
really like the first shot; I wish I'd thought to get rid of the little
hair on the left-hand side, though.
