You ignored rule #1, AG, you didn't ask on the list first!
>From my recollection, there is a noticeable shutter-lag when using Dimage
Control, but pefectly usable for reasonably static subjects. You may need
to get a looooong USB cable though!

Subject: [OM] For those with the A1 or A2 cameras from another brand
I managed to FINALLY get DimageControl and the drivers downloaded. It has
taken some serious gum-shoeing to find it since the French languange is
somewhat foreign to me. Somewhat? hah!
Anyway, I have both versions for the Konica-Minolta A1 and A2.
Anybody needing this please contact me offlist and I'll be happy to forward
them on.
This is the FREE software that lets you remote control the camera from a
computer. Results are not guaranteed, standard caveats apply.
I can't test it right now, myself, since my A1 is still getting its imager
replaced.
AG-tethered and loving it-Schnozz
