I just came across some long-forgotten negatives of shots of my maternal
grandfather, one of my all-time favorite people, dead now since 1964. It's him
coming back home from wandering about the farm, toting his 16-gauge Parker
double and the pheasant he had bagged. There are six of these, in different
poses, and I need to scan them again and get to work on the scans -- they are
hellaciously contrasty.
