There are signs of PS adjustments and possibly of the means chosen for
downsizing.
Those things may, however, occur without repetitive saving, closing,
reopening and reediting of the image. I never re-edit JPEGs. Even with
images that are saved by a camera as JPEGs, I edit in 16 bit and save
the edited version in lossless PSD format. So subsequent edits don't
have cumulative quality losses. Nonetheless, I have been known to have
editing artifacts in the occasional image posted to the web. :-)
BTW, when you save to JPEG, at least in PS, the loss of detail info only
exists in the file on disk. The image in memory is unaffected and
further JPEG saves as editing goes on will not have cumulative effects
on image quality.
