This is a fine example of what I tell students I've never said: "Gee,
I wish I took that shot on cheaper film!"
It was during a phase of experimenting with the movie film packaged
in 35mm canisters, probably from Seattle Filmworks. I sure wish I had
done this on Kodachrome instead! The grain isn't too bad if you
squint just the right way...

Do you ever fly out of Duxford? I used to fly gliders there. I recall
one time when one of the Cambridge Sailplane Club members caused an
incoming vintage B-17 being delivered to the Imperial War Museum to
abort and circle. There was some interesting tower chatter on the
radio after that one! But un-powered craft have right-of-way, even if
the powered craft being diverted sucks 300 gallons an hour. :-)
