For Hi-Fi use I agree completely. Sadly for guitar use if you're going to
be lugging it about, it becomes something of an issue quite quickly... ah
well. :)

Hmm .. /fantastic/. I really should build a hifi one for myself. Drive
those overgrown beasts of B&W DM2's that live in my room. Much better than
the NAD anyway..

Absolutely ... ah that soft rich orange glow in the corner.
Even better if you can liberate a Magic Eye valve for a VU meter. Though
replacements are hard (if not impossible!) to find these days... still,
worth a go.
