I bought it directly from C. Crane Co. FedEx, UPS and the USPS have always just
left packages by the door (except the USPS guy will ring the doorbell to see if
anybody's home before he leaves it) and there's never been, in the 32 years
I've lived here and the hundreds of packages I've received, that one has been
stolen. This is a very low crime area, thank goodness. The delivery guy just
took it to the wrong house, I'm sure, and it's probably in the custody of
somebody a few blocks away who is considering it a "gift" and not calling them
to come pick it up or go to the bother of bringing it to me. It's just a box of
LED lightbulbs, so no great prize. I live at 2695 Wendy Lane, and a neighbor at
2965 Wendy Lane and I used to have to take stuff to each other a couple of
times a year because of apparently dyslesic delivery people leaving stuff the
wrong place.
