Yeah, 'tis. The lens is broken in that it won't stop down at all. I've
replaced it with the Tamron equiv though -- unsurprisingly perhaps, this
was cheaper than getting the Sigma repaired, but about £10.

The joys of in camera shake reduction. :) It's not perfect, but my god is
it useful in the grand scheme of things!
