I last visited Cambridge Colour about a year ago when I first became
aware of the concept of diffusion at the pixel site. I just checked
it and it has been completely revised with much more clear
explanations. They use some interactive elements now so that you can
see the effect on a selection of sensor grids at different apertures.
They also have a diffusion calculator near the bottom that is very
easy to use because you just select the type of sensor you are
interested in, the pixel count, viewing distance, the size of print,
etc. Lots of fun and may improve your shots if you know how much you
can stop down before you stop blowing detail.
