The first two I found had "Olympus 72mm Japan" in white letters
on the inside of the cap (early 300 & early 400). I thought I picked
up a 72mm metal cap from KEH which didn't have any significant
markings. Maybe I'm remembering a 100mm cap ... or maybe it's
somewhere else.
I believe some of the pictures published by Olympus show the metal
caps. The knurled edge is pretty distinctive.
