I'd probably trip over them instead of the wind. Why wait? Get it over

Careful of the umbrellas outdoors... they become excellent sails in the
wind. But light stands only travel in short arcs... to the ground face
first. When outdoors or in busy places indoors you need sandbags around
the legs of the stand so it doesn't get blown or knocked over.
