Electronic shutter. True for all but the OM-1(n) and OM-3(Ti). Recall
that your questions was "Anybody know any reason they wouldn't also work
in the OM-4 and OM-4Ti cameras?"
The electronic shutters require high currents for short periods. Any
battery which has a significant voltage drop under those conditions is
trouble. One that also has a nice slow drop off of voltage with age and
use can cause apparently intermittent symptoms that lead to all sorts of
trouble when misdiagnosed,a s well as possible madness for the user.
You have had enough trouble in your life. Keep the lithiums out of the
OM-2 and 4 and double digit series bodies except for emergencies, then
replace as soon as possible.
