Jeff is correct. The Tamron-F listed is NOT the one subsequent posts
have been talking about. It is a 2x model similar to or or the same as
the various MC7 2x extenders sold by many others.
THIS IS NOT COMPATIBLE WITH ADAPTALL(2).
Most important, it is camera specific on both front and rear mounts.
That is, for example, an OM mount version attaches just like a Zuiko
2X-A. So you must match mount to the lenses with which you use it. And
for use on 4/3, you must have an adapter from whatever mount the
teleconverter has to the 4/3 mount.
The Adaptall teleconverters work as Chuck and perhaps others described,
being adaptable to almost all old MF mounts with the correct Adaptall2
adapter.
Their model numbers are 140F (1.4x), 01F (Preferred 2x model. and 200F
(Older, less common 2x, works with many fewer lenses.)
